Needs First: AugCom System Search
Tool is available here through the Internet. Needs
First: On-Line is updated regularly to provide accurate
information on all AAC systems currently
available.
Needs First: On-Line is a
fee-based service. The purchase of this service provides
access to the following:
- Needs First database
through Short Form Searches (Long Form questions are not
available).;
- Our comprehensive directory of
AAC products with links to manufacturers'
website;
- Our AAC Service Provider
Network which lists, according to state, professionals
who specialize in AAC;
- A bulletin board exchange of
news, ideas, product information, and more.
- Access to Needs First:
On-Line is available as either an Annual Subscription
or as a Single Visit. With the Annual Subscription, a
unique password will be provided to purchasers. This
password allows unlimited access to the above services
for one year - ideal for professionals who conduct
frequent AAC assessments. The Single Visit allows the
purchaser to conduct only one search - ideal for parents
interested in finding the most appropriate system for
their child.

A subscription to
Needs First: On-Line can be ordered with a
purchase order from school, facility or agency. The
password to access the database will be sent via e-mail
or postal mail. Subscriptions can also be ordered using
Visa or MasterCard. Single Searches must prepaid with
